Oh the monotony of house hunting!

So Evan and I have been searching for a house for six months now, and it feels like the search is never going to end. Someone out bid you....Someone ripped apart the house so the government won't let you have this one...Investors swooped in and bought it and are going to jack up the price and then you can try and buy it again....Someone got mad that they couldn't pay the mortgage and were losing their house so they peed on everything and took everything out of the house and sold it....These are all the things we have run into and trust me the list goes on and on! Recently it has gotten even more difficult because Evan and I are just biting at the bit to get our own place. There is no reason for it but we turn it into an argument or battle just because we are so frustrated in general. Luckily we are smart enough and love each other enough to recognize what we are doing and apologize and realize how much we love each other all over again but it is getting so old, getting our hopes us just to be let down!

We both know that we just need to let go and that God will provide for us and that he knows what is best for us and will make it all possible when we are ready. It is just so difficult to remind yourself to relinquish that control that you feel you have over your life and remind Him that "we get it...you know what you are doing!"

So here's to another day of more house searching... let us know if today is the day Big Guy!

Life as we know it!

Well Evan and I have had a great big taste of the real world these last couple of weeks. When we got home from the honeymoon we had seen Evan's car engine light come one...days later it BLEW UP!!! I am not over exaggerating either, it was smoking and sparking, the smoke filled the entire street it was so bad! So, lalala, we go to get it fixed rack out a decent car tab and then drive it for one day and it breaks down again=undrivable! SO now we are just in a holding pattern while it sits at Craig the Car Guy's shop. We don't know what to do....buy a new car...pay to have this fixed eventhough we would almost be paying more than what it's worth! Shesh such decisions! Not only that but within the same day we take the dogs to the vet and rack up a nice little tab there as well! Not to mention we found out that we are horrible parents and let Goose get overweight! Or maybe his grandmothers contributed to that! All together lots of adultness hit us in the face this month! And I am ready for August already!!!!!

HOT HOT Heat

Whew! It has been a toasty month of June here in the AZ! I thought I would post some pictures of Turks and Caicos to remind me of the beautiful beach that made the heat there worth it! We had such an amazing time relaxing on these beaches and met some of the nicest people! I love traveling, it always instills in me the hope that people are deep down good people because if you can walk through an airport nowadays with a smile on your face and a positive attitude then we are doing okay! This trip was Evan's first time out of the country, and he was adorable soaking in the different culture and customs...literally...those customs agents can be intimidating. On the way back into the good ole US they had a fingerprint reader and eye scanner! We did make the common mistake and roasted our skin the first couple of days there, but luckily we got to experience some beautiful tropical storms that gave us a UV ray break. Over all the trip was perfect and one of the most relaxing I have ever taken! Needless to say Evan and I are willing to go back! :)
